Mozelle's was featured in Winston-Salem Monthly Magazine's May issue. Here's an excerpt from the article by Michael Breedlove:

Mozelle’s

The Scene: A quick hop across Fourth Street leads us to tiny, lively Mozelle’s, which labels itself a “fresh Southern bistro.” It sits in a dot of a building at the corner of Fourth Street and Brookstown Avenue. The sidewalk patio features a line of seven shiny silver tables, each accented by lime-green pillows, yellow umbrellas, and a glass-bowl centerpiece filled with pinks gems. It’s the little details, like free-to-use blankets on chilly days, that make this patio special. While out-front seating is limited, Mozelle’s also has a handful of open-air seats on a side patio. The side patio is enclosed by plastic during the winter months, but is uncovered when warmer weather arrives.

Today sees a host of local “celebrities” taking a seat along the sunny sidewalk area. There’s Geoff Lassiter, president of the Dash, eating at a corner table. A few seats down sits WXII’s Kim Gebbia and Nicole Ducouer, who are enjoying the warm weather with a bottle of wine.

We pull up a chair next to friends Shannon Carrick and Meredith Beeker, co-owners of Stella Blu Salon on Stratford Road. They came to Fourth Street to go to the Filling Station, but when it was full, they happily hopped across the street to Mozelle’s. “We come here all the time,” Carrick says. “There’s good energy on the patio, and there’s usually a lot of people walking by. I like that it’s not secluded like some of the other places.”

The Food: We love the setting at Mozelle’s, sure, but the feel-good food is the reason we keep coming back. Start out with the cornbread-crusted Sea Scallops ($12) or the tasty Tomato Bisque ($5). For a one-of-a-kind dinner entrée, try the Tomato Pie ($16), which is a blend of cheeses, tomatoes, and hand-rolled crust. “It kind of tastes like pizza,” Carrick says, “but it’s better.” For lunch, we love the meatloaf sandwich ($9), which mixes barbecue sauce, havarti cheese, and collard greens. Really though, take your pick when it comes to food. Everything we’ve tried is great.

Good to know: Mozelle’s helps take the edge off Mondays with a half-priced bottled wine special. It’s just one of the many specials the bistro offers, most of which change by the season.
